Amera took a master plan approach to a blighted downtown commercial corridor in Fort Lauderdale. Assembling various properties to be redeveloped along busy Federal Highway between Sunrise and Broward Boulevards, Amera secured the north-end anchor property at the curve at Sunrise Boulevard.  Amera transformed a 50,000-square-foot Publix-anchored shopping center which was 40 years old with a repositioned and re-tenanted center that became an asset to the surrounding neighborhood. This co-venture with Talbott Realty was recognized with a City community appearance award at the time of repositioning. This was part of a greater plan to redevelop various properties along the corridor.
