Amera took a master plan approach to a blighted downtown commercial corridor in Fort Lauderdale. Assembling various properties to be redeveloped along busy Federal Highway between Sunrise and Broward Boulevards, Amera secured the south-end anchor property and developed a 24,000-square-foot upscale center in 1995 which “raised the bar” for future retail in the central business district. Located on one of the busiest corners in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, the development of Palm Court Pavilion was the start of the downtown renaissance. With its convenient location and unique presence, this upscale center has gained attention from nationally recognized tenants and features a host of well-renowned retailers such as anchor tenant CVS, Citibank, T-Mobile and Einstein Bagels.
